Performed Mods:
Red Cold Cathode tube, 2 x 12" UV tubes, ATA IDE133 ribbon cables replaced with blue UV reactive round cables, UV reactive blue sleeving on some wires, LED fan added. All done as cheap as possible.
This started out as a bog-standard shop-bought PC with 512mb Ram, inbuilt graphics and sound (still need to add a sound card) in an awful cream case. All changes/Mods have been done as cheap as possible. The graphics card only cost £24, the case cost £26. I'm hoping to replace the MOBO with an SLI MOBO and add an identical graphics card eventually and increase my RAM to 3 or 4gb. It's all price sensitive, so I always have an eye on Ebay. Any advice on cable management would be gratefully received.

Thanks for that. It's my first build, so any feedback is appreciated.

Much better than mine. Then again I live in Aus where PC parts are alot more expensive

Very nice! the only thing id recommend is a bit of cable management, besides that, very nice!

Dame looks like you could have a rave party in their...LOL Clean it up and you'll have a hell of a build.

Regardless of hardware the thing that lets your build down is the cable management. No offence but it is a mess.
Zip ties are cheap - 100 for 99p at my local electrical store.
If that is too much for you then you can use sandwich ties or even some solid core copper wire from an old bit of electric cooker cable or the like. Group the cables together and tie them up and it'll improve your case a great deal.

Only other thing i'll say is that sometimes it really is worth saving up your pennies rather than doing things on the cheap.

Thanks Maju, any advice is great. Seriously thinking about modular PSU. I've tied a lot of wires together with zip ties, but they're still visible. I need to hide them either behind the disc drives or behind the motherboard backplate. It really needs taking apart and starting from scratch with a bit more planning, but thanks again.
